Recently our neighbor here in North Naples, Fla., had her palm trees trimmed. Well, not all, since she had this one cut down completely. I’ll never understand why someone has a completely healthy and flourishing palm tree cut down. I guess it’s either that it protruded so high that it interrupted the symmetry of the foliage of her backyard or that she’s in fear of it toppling onto her pool screen during a hurricane. I got these two shots on June 19, 2016.
