I got an early start on pool season here in Southwest Florida on Feb. 11, 2018. Although the water was chilly – actually, damn frigid – I decided to jump in. I have been cleared for swimming after two knee-replacement surgeries and since we had renovations on the pool last year and experienced Hurricane Irma, it was a pretty short swimming season at our home in Naples.
