My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with something I don’t usually do: Suggest a remake. It’s “Bad News Bears” from 2005 (gosh knows why they dropped “The” from the title of the original) and it just doesn’t stink. I know that sounds like damning with faint praise, but “Bad News Bears” could have been a horrid, worthless remake and it isn’t. Billy Bob Thornton is great in “Bad News Bears” and, while nowhere near as good as the original, this remake is pretty okay. Now, that’s praise from this amateur critic. It’s easy to find “Bad News Bears,” so … go find it!
So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
