My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Citizen X.” Here is an HBO film worthy of Oscar contention (and it was nominated for a Golden Globe as best TV movie and Donald Sutherland won a Globe for his acting). “Citizen X” is the story of a most prolific serial killer in the Soviet Union during the Communist era. Fortunately, the Communism regime fell and the ideology no longer was able to protect the killer. “Citizen X” is a tour-de-force for Sutherland and Stephen Rea. If you can find it … watch it! You won’t be disappointed.
So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
