Yet another error of omission by the idiot calendar maker

Here we go again with the idiot calendar maker. It’s an error of omission again. From the Aug. 4, 2018, entry, it has baseball great Mel Ott being the first major league player to score six runs in a game. Wrong! It should have said in the modern era of professional baseball. Ott was the ninth when he did it in 1934 (and he’d do it again a decade later). The previous one was in 1899 Ginger Beaumont of the Pittsburgh Pirates (Ott played for the New York Giants). It’s no surprise that the dumb-asses responsible for this calendar can’t do better.
