My movie reviews A-Z: Today … ‘Going in Style’ (the original)

My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with the original “Going in Style” from 1979. Here’s a real motion picture with outstanding actors – George Burns, Art Carney and legendary acting coach Lee Strasberg – and not the swill in the remake (although it has three great headliners itself). “Going in Style” isn’t feel-good in the original. It’s about getting old and there’s no veneer of good fortune here. However, “Going in Style” is simply outstanding and you shouldn’t miss it.

I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
