My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Hail, Caesar!” Here’s one from the Coen brothers that almost defies description. “Hail, Caesar!” is the converging stories of a movie star kidnapped for ransom and who comes to enjoy the company of his captors and the movie studio head who has to keep a bunch of lunatic actors and directors on course. “Hail, Caesar!” isn’t the best work of the Coens, but it is truly watchable and you have to actually pay attention because it is nuance-laced.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
