My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Three Days of the Condor.” Here’s the espionage masterpiece starring Robert Redford that holds up as well today as it did when it premiered in 1975. “Three Days of the Condor” is the story of a CIA analyst on the run after his section is “hit” by professional killers. Redford stars and does a magnificent job. “Three Days of the Condor” is great movie storytelling: It is nuanced; it is layered; it is perfectly acted; and the director doesn’t miss a step. “Three Days of the Condor” has some action, but the film takes time to tell its story. You might have to search a bit to find “Three Days of the Condor” on DVD, but it does make the rounds on cable. If you’ve never seen it, make “Three Days of the Condor” the next movie you see!
