My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Used Cars.” Here’s a somewhat forgotten comedy classic where Kurt Russell’s mania leaves you on the floor – even when he just tells the punchline of a joke! “Used Cars” is from 1980 and it is one of the early f-bomb laced adult comedies that shocked many in the audience(s). “Used Cars” isn’t easily described, but let’s just suffice to say it’s about a pair of competing car lots and shenanigans they use against each other (especially hilarious is the TV “commercials” by Russell’s team – TV’s own “Lenny” and “Squiggy”). Go find “Used Cars” as soon as you can. Then hold on tight … it’s gonna be a hilarious ride!
