My reviews: ‘Big Bang’ gone; was great once; but finally out of our misery

My movie suggestion for today is … to note the passing of a great TV show that, like so many other greats, went belly-up long before producers had the decency to put us out of its misery by taking it off the air. “The Big Bang Theory,” which had its final episode premiere last week, is one of television’s all-time greats. At least for seven years. Just as its co-creator’s previous show “Two and a Half Men” went and “jumped the shark” in year eight, so, too, did “The Big Bang Theory.” So, I didn’t watch the final episode (I’ll without a doubt call it up with on-demand; it has earned a viewing of the final episode) and that’s how a show goes from tremendous to the pits. Sigh. Well, I might write a review after watching the last episode.

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
