Try this flick … “Assault on a Queen.” Frank Sinatra did a bunch of “caper” films including the original and now-iconic “Ocean’s 11” and here’s another one today: “Assault on a Queen.” It’s a film with a creative plot (rob an ocean liner on the high seas) and has a solid, but mostly below-the-radar cast that does a good job (from Virna Lisi to Tony Franciosa). “Assault on a Queen” is nothing but a showcase for Sinatra and he is at his ultra-cool best in this one. You won’t have any problem finding “Assault on a Queen” … so get out there and enjoy it!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to my review.
