Retro Disney favorite photo: This edible plant is spelled ‘A-m-a-r-a-n-t-h’

Today, I’m re-posting a favorite photo from Walt Disney World … and this shows a plant at The Land. The original caption: “Here’s another edible plant at the greenhouse at The Land at EPCOT: Amaranth. I don’t know much about the plant (click the link to find out that it has edible leaves) but I did photograph it while we were on a trip to Walt Disney World. We were on my favorite “little” ride (“Living with the Land”) on Aug. 19, 2016, when I got the shot. Click here for a photo I got of a 9-pound lemon there during a visit in 2013 or click here for all my Living with the Land photos …” As we won’t be back at Walt Disney World for some time – between the coronavirus alert and the fact that our annual passes expired and we haven’t renewed – I’ve been posting some of my “favorites” from our photos taken at WDW over the years. (Remember: Click on the image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
