Try this flick … “Nine to Five.” Here’s a wonderful film from 1980 that had the spotlight on the beginning of the beginning of an evolution of women breaking out of “secretarial pools” at big companies. “Nine to Five” has an outstanding cast headlined by Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton. However, it is Dabney Coleman in “Nine to Five” who has to stretch a bit more than the headliners and this is a top-shelf effort by that underrated actor. Still, the actors that count the most are Tomlin-Fonda-Parton. You won’t find it difficult to get “Nine to Five,” so what are you waiting for?
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
