Try this flick … “New Jack City.” Here is absolutely the most under-appreciated movie about crime and society that has ever been put on the big screen. “New Jack City” tells the story of the cancer of drugs, drug sales and the power of drugs in urban America. “New Jack City” in many ways has no equal – Wesley Snipes give a career-defining effort as drug-baron-to-be “Nino Brown” and everyone else is nearly up to his pace. “New Jack City” will make you uneasy, but it is a story told nearly 30 years ago and is just as poignant today was it was at its release in 1991. “New Jack City” will just blow you away!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
