Try this flick … “Dirty Grandpa.” Here’s one that stars Robert De Niro that for the first half-hour all you’ll be saying is, “OMG!” De Niro and co-star Zac Efron play grandfather and grandson in “Dirty Grandpa” and they’re going on a road trip … but it’s the elder who’s gonna make you go OMG! Here’s a film that starts out fast, but finishes with an almost silent thud because filmmakers didn’t know how to bring it home. “Dirty Grandpa” (don’t get it mixed up with a similarly titled effort by Johnny Knoxville) is the only review that I’ve written where I rewrote it a few weeks later after cautious thought. Well, De Niro doesn’t have much caution in “Dirty Grandpa,” so you should watch it.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
