Watch it! OK, yesterday was dark drama … today? I’m going with teen comedy … so, Watch it! For today, you should watch “Can’t Buy Me Love.” First, it is funny and sometimes endearing (both keys to a successful comedy). Next, “Can’t Buy Me Love” has a co-star who is age-appropriate to being in high school. The late Amanda Peterson was 15 when she co-starred with Patrick Dempsey … and he was a young-ish 20. “Can’t Buy Me Love” is the story of a high school geek who “rents” the affection of a popular girl so he can become popular. Yes, you can guess it all, but “Can’t Buy Me Love” is a real winner and, so … Watch it!
