Watch It! “Maid to Order” is you basic ho-hum comedy … uh, well, maybe just a little bit more. Although “Maid to Order” suffers from stereotypes (the same as most comedies released in the past 40 years), it does offer a little deeper-than-expected exploration of characters. “Maid to Order” is the story of a rich girl who winds up poor. Ally Sheedy of the “Brat Pack” fame is the star and she winds up with a chain-smoking fairy godmother. Of course, she fails at first with everything and everyone, but then … well, you know the stereotype. However, you’ll actually enjoy this ride and “Maid to Order” is not going to insult your intelligence (too much). So, get out there and … Watch It!
