Watch It! Today, try David Cronenberg’s violent crime classic “A History of Violence.” This movie is so good that William Hurt earned an Oscar nomination in a role in which he was on screen for less than 10 minutes! “A History of Violence” is the story of a calm man whose true background is exposed after he foils a robbery at his diner. Viggo Mortensen stars in “A History of Violence,” but the trio of Ed Harris (as a deformed killer), Maria Bello (as the wife) and Hurt (who is Viggo’s brother and a crime boss) that make this one shine. Cronenberg does as good a job as you could expect and his talent shows through. So, “A History of Violence” … Watch It!
