Watch It! “Going in Style” from 1979. Here’s the original and it is far superior to the mess “rebooted” in 2017. “Going in Style” is touted as a comedy about three elderly pensions who spice up their drab life … through bank robbery! However, I found more drama than comedy in “Going in Style” and there are some dark parts that you’ll have to navigate. “Going in Style” as a totally A-list of headliners with two Oscar winners (George Burns and Art Carney) and an Oscar nominee (Lee Strasberg). All three deserved at least Oscar nominations for this one! So, go find the original “Going in Style” and enjoy it instead of the silly “reboot” … Watch It!
