Watch It! “The Running Man” is a usual effort by Arnold Schwarzenegger, but you should watch it because of the late Richard Dawson. “The Running Man” is a sci-fi film adapted from a Stephen King story. Arnie is Arnie, so you know what you get, but Dawson simply knocks it out of the park in “The Running Man” as the cruel, grasping and vengeful TV host, so unlike his years on “Family Feud” (he did 2,300+ episodes of that TV classic between 1976 and 1985 and none count as an acting credit). I won’t bore you with the plot of “The Running Man,” but let’s say Arnie is a good guy; he gets in trouble because he’s good; then he kicks serious ass. However, Dawson’s work was deserving of an Oscar nomination, but, because it was an Arnie film, he got passed over. In any case, find “The Running Man” and Watch It!
