Watch It! “Shallow Hal” is a every endearing and funny film courtesy of the Farrelly brothers. I don’t know why I like “Shallow Hal” so much, especially because it co-stars the truly awful (but not in this one) Gwyneth Paltrow, but I enjoy it somewhat more every time I see it. Jack Black does sensational work as “Shallow Hal” and his is the story of a guy who has a pretty much misogynistic view of women. During a chance encounter in a stopped elevator, real-life advice guru Tony Robbins in one of the best cameos you’ll ever see. “Shallow Hal” begins pursuing who he believes is the woman of his dreams. Unknown to him, she’s morbidly obese and doesn’t meet any of his inflated physical requirements. You’ll need to see “Shallow Hal” and how clever the Farrellys play this one-joke film. Find it … and Watch It!
