Looking on the big screen at your home today, try “Johnny Be Good.” We’re out of football season now that the Super Bowl of 2022 is behind us, but you can enjoy one of Hollywood’s grand stinker of a film with “Johnny Be Good” – even though it “stars” Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Michael Hall and Uma Thurman. Here’s a story from back in the day when colleges had to be underhanded to pay players to come to their school. Today? Opening paying players is legal and accepted. Back then? Not so much. “Johnny Be Good” has horrible acting; a completely ignorant director; but, still, a couple of bright spots from the supporting actors. “Johnny Be Good” is so bad that you must watch it to be able to appreciate just how terrible a movie can present itself.
I’m sure that you’ll have to spend some time looking for “Johnny Be Good,” but, if you can find it, you’ll have some fun on your “big screen” at home!
