OK! It’s the season of Halloween 2022! I’m doing a countdown of my 17 favorite horror flicks that I’ve reviewed for my blog … and today’s finds us at No. 12: “The Lost Boys.” Here’s another vampire flick, but “The Lost Boys” is anything but another vampire flick as it has style, verve and … well, vampires! “The Lost Boys” is the story of a family that moves to a California town only to discover that it is the murder capital of U.S. and that’s the outgrowth of a nest of young vampires on motorcycles. Of course, one of the family members falls for a woman in the vampire group and soon he’s becoming one of them (you’ll have to watch the film to understand this context) and the whole thing blows up in a violent vampire fest at the end of “The Lost Boys.”
Here’s one horror film that you definitely did see in 1987 or, if you did not, you really missed out on a great horror flick. So, get going and find “The Lost Boys” at Halloween time!
