Looking on the big screen at your home … we’re counting down to Christmas 2022! Now that the “Home(s) Alone(s),” “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” are behind me, I’ll turn to a quiet, reserved film that is an unrecognized Christmas classic: “The Family Man.” Nic Cage and Téa Leoni star in “The Family Man” and here’s a film that has every chance to sink, but manages an Olympic gold medal in the pool. “The Family Man” is the story of a Wall Street scumbag who, through the intervention of the spirit of Christmas called “Cash Money,” wakes up with the woman he spurned years ago … and their two kids! You have to watch “The Family Man” to fully appreciate it.
Keep coming back each day until Christmas for my latest recommendation of a Christmas film. You might not have seen “The Family Man” on your home “big screen,” but don’t continue to compound that mistake. Watch it!
