Today’s ‘must see’ movie: ‘Assassination’ with Bronson should have been a TV flick

Today’s “must” movie is “Assassination” with Charles Bronson. While I’ve featured bad movies that are watchable, I’m suggesting you watch this one to see how a movie should NOT be made. Despite “Assassination” having a big star, it is pretty bad … no, it’s really bad.

Bronson stars as a Secret Service agent who winds up on a convoluted path while protecting the First Lady, who is played by Bronson’s real-life wife Jill Ireland (she would die of cancer three years after the release of “Assassination”). Both suffer from a terrible screenplay filled with stereotypes and which is hallmarked by a complete lack of creativity.

Plus, “Assassination” has nothing much in the way of direction and it appears to have been better suited in release as a TV movie instead of on the big screen.

Like I’ve already noted, “Assassination” is awful. Don’t worry, you’ll come up with the same review … I guarantee it!
