Here’s a warning label you should NEVER ignore … on Carolina Reaper peppers!

A lot of warning labels are spurred by stupid lawsuits … such as “don’t dance” on a ladder. However, there is one warning label that is totally justified: the one on Carolina Reaper peppers. Wow! These peppers aren’t just hot … they go beyond scalding (click here to see their Scovil heat units as compared to other peppers). Although the warning on this package of dried Carolina Reaper peppers say they hit “above at least” 1-million Scoville units, the “official” heat is 1.5 million units compared to the previous hottest-pepper at 1.2 million units (the Trinidad Moruga scorpion). I got this shot of my order of GT Leaf Whole Dried Carolina Reaper Chili Pepper from Amazon.com at our home here in Naples, Fla., on June 2, 2023. I use them (very lightly) in making chili.
