The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has decoys out for traffic enforcement ahead of the public school year that begins tomorrow (Monday, Aug. 4, 2025) with teachers’ first day back after the summer break. Students will return a week later on Aug. 11. Here’s the decoy car near the front of PME near our home here in Naples, Fla. I got the shot on Aug. 2, 2025. The CCSO uses decoy vehicles throughout the year as a way to slow down drivers and I’m sure enforcement will be tight on the first day students return next week.
