Here is a montage of two emergency situations on highways near our home here in Naples, Fla. The top two photos were captured on June 10, 2026, by my dashcam and show emergency vehicles going through an intersection. You can see in the top photo, the little white light that signals emergency vehicles have taken control of the traffic signal. When emergencies happen, usually two or more vehicles pass through – in this case, one from the North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District and the other from the county’s EMS division. The bottom photo, which I took while stopped yesterday (June, 11, 2026) for a red light, shows both the CCSO and a North Collier district fire engine.
