Here’s a close-up shot of “John” – the narrator of Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom. The Carousel of Progress has a bunch of interesting back stories, including that “John” has been voiced by the late Jean Shepherd – he wrote the book that is the basis of the film “A Christmas Story” (click here for my review). Anyway, I got the shot on Feb. 7, 2016, during a long weekend at Walt Disney World.
