I regularly take photos of license plates (or are they tags? 😊) and I spotted one and do not recall having seen one before. It is called the Gold Star Family plate here in Florida. I got this shot while at a red light on Aug. 21, 2024, while on an errand from our home here in Naples. The Gold Star Family plate can be received only by family members of a U.S. serviceman or servicewoman who was killed while on duty. The Gold Star Family plate was introduced by the state of Florida in 2016. I have removed the identification numbers/letters for the privacy of the vehicle owner.
