Today’s movie suggestion is just a list – a list of all the war films that I have reviewed. It is in honor of today … for Memorial Day 2016. The films are mostly serious films about war, but there are a few with a comedy component. However, by putting them all together under the “war” heading wasn’t intended to make light of the concept of war or making any light on this most serious of holidays. I just enjoy war films and today’s a good day to highlight war in cinema. Click here to read the list of the battles in which the most Americans paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms today. I posted an image of the outstanding World War II film “Saving Private Ryan” but I haven’t reviewed it yet. Maybe I will …
So, I’m in the middle of doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review. I’ve done nearly 300 for this blog and I’ll be running a suggestion each day until I run out of reviews. Let’s see what day that falls on in 2016.
