On Pearl Harbor’s 75th anniversary, remember Date of Infamy

tttClick here to read my movie suggestion for today … and, since today is the 75th anniversary of the “date which will live in infamy,” I’m suggesting “Tora! Tora! Tora!” from 1970. It was a dark day on Dec. 7, 1941, when imperial Japan attacked the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. “Tora! Tora! Tora!” is a big-screen spectacular, but it wasn’t popular in the U.S. (no surprise) and successful in Japan at the time. “Tora! Tora! Tora!” isn’t great cinema, but watchable and has a huge cast. On this somber anniversary, check out “Tora! Tora! Tora!.”

So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
