Click here to read my movie suggestion for today and it is … “Kelly’s Heroes.” I’m recommending it today with the passing yesterday (April 6, 2017) of legendary comedian Don Rickles at the age of 90. “Kelly’s Heroes” is my favorite Clint Eastwood war film. I’m offering up war movies as we head to Memorial Day 2016 and, although this is somewhat of a comedy, “Kelly’s Heroes” is a really neat war film. It came out in the summer of 1970 and that’s a long time ago. However, “Kelly’s Heroes” has aged well. It should, “Kelly’s Heroes” has the only hippie to serve in WWII!
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
