OK, I admit … this is bad photo because of the glare of the morning sun. However, it shows everything you need to know about Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend: The traffic, traffic and runner controls and the runners. You can see runners here at the far right as they get ready to turn into the Disney’s Hollywood Studios portion of the 26.2-mile marathon. I got the shot as we left Walt Disney World on Jan. 7, 2018, after an overnight stay. The marathon was the centerpiece of the five-day event for WDW. BTW … the marathon wound its way through all four major parks. (Remember: Click on the image above for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
