Just before the first of my knee-replacement surgeries in September, I received a jury summons. Well, I got a delay … and they didn’t forget about me! I received this in the mail on March 1, 2018, and will be headed off to court because my juror number is 0008! Absolutely no chance of them only calling seven prospective jurors that week here in Naples, Fla. I’ve put the notice up on the side of our refrigerator and let the Florida Panthers goalie on our calendar protect it.
