As if you needed any more proof that the idiot who made this desk calendar needed an editor, here’s today’s update on errors on my copy. The idiot calendar maker obviously didn’t hire a competent editor to make sure the idiot writers’ mistakes were caught. Here from today’s (Saturday, April 7, 2018) is just the latest: Today is NOT the anniversary of the end of Prohibition in the U.S. It is the anniversary in 1933 when “3.2” beer – somewhat reduced alcohol – could be sold again after Prohibition began in 1920. However, the full repeal of the Constitutional ban on alcohol production, importation and sales didn’t occur until Dec. 5, 1933. Big difference, you stupid calendar maker.
