Here’s the latest in my ongoing criticism of my desk calendar for 2018. The idiot calendar maker didn’t hire real writers or any editors – at least that’s how it looks from the errors, stupidities and just sheer ignorance behind the mistakes. The one for April 10, 2018, is really easy to research – but the calendar maker didn’t or else the entry would be correct. The Professional Golfers’ Association (they didn’t even spell it correctly with the plural possessive) was chartered on April 10, 1916. The organization’s first actual tournament wasn’t until six months later. Just basic research could show these calendar maker idiots the correct anniversary. Stupid is as stupid does.
