My movie reviews A-Z: Today … ‘An American Werewolf in London’

Next up in my alphabetical listing of suggested movies to watch is the simply outstanding horror flick “An American Werewolf in London.” It has about the best-ever werewolf conversion scene and is truly, truly scary. “An American Werewolf in London” is by the gifted director John Landis, who was coming off “Animal House” and “The Blues Brothers” and would go on to do the sensational “Trading Places.” In “An American Werewolf in London,” you get it all – a great story, solid acting and wonderful cinematography. The only discordant note in “An American Werewolf in London” is that the music director (or Landis) didn’t use Warren Zevon’s iconic hit “Werewolves of London” on the soundtrack.

So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
