My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with Jackie Chan’s first U.S. film and the first movie in which an audience heard his actual voice. It’s called “Battle Creek Brawl” (renamed once to “The Big Brawl”) and it’s the story of an Asian-American who protects his family but gets tangled up with the mob and has to fight in a big-money bare-knuckles event in Texas. “Battle Creek Brawl” isn’t great, heck, it isn’t even good, but it’s truly fun to watch. “Battle Creek Brawl” is difficult to find, but go out of your way – it’s actually worth it!
