My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with a forgotten almost-great: “The Big Fix.” It’s a mystery story out of the late ’70s and starring Richard Dreyfuss as a rather mediocre private-eye who gets mixed up in a big case. “The Big Fix” is a story well-told, but it tries to do too much. The best thing about “The Big Fix” is Dreyfuss and how he navigates his way to finding who’s trying to sabotage a political candidate. It comes around on the cable channels once in a while, so keep your eyes peeled. “The Big Fix” is worth the effort.
So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
