My movie reviews A-Z: ‘The Big Red One’

My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with a World War II film that had so much potential, but turned out pretty crappy: “The Big Red One.” It had its chance – it had a solid, big cast; it had a decent idea (follow a group of U.S. soldiers through battles across North Africa and Europe); and a director who was a veteran with a medal from the war. Still, “The Big Red One” has every stupid stereotype (right down to soldiers delivering a baby – in a tank) and none of it is executed very well. Oh well, it’s a WWII film and so I’ll tell you to watch “The Big Red One.”

So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
