My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Charlie Wilson’s War.” Here’s a film with a headliner (Tom Hanks) doing great work, but the Oscar nomination went to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. It is a tour-de-force by Hoffman in “Charlie Wilson’s War” and he plays a CIA agent at the center of the rebellion in Afghanistan against Soviet Communist invaders from Russia. “Charlie Wilson’s War” Here’s a really great motion picture that has only one flaw – the work of the overrated Julia Roberts (any other actor could have done her character better). “Charlie Wilson’s War” is easy to find, so watch it again or, if you missed it, check it out soonest.
So, I’ve begun posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
