We believe it has been bad decision-making, but Walt Disney World has closed a couple of nice cafes in the name of progress. Here’s a photo I got June 2, 2018, of the umbrellas at the tables for the now-defunct Starring Rolls Café just off Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The café has been gone for some time now, but the umbrellas remain a reminder. It was a nice, quiet place. It was preceded into oblivion by The Writer’s Stop café on the other side of the park. Sigh. Two great, quiet stops in the midst of a bustling theme park. Ah, well.
