My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Down Periscope.” Here’s a great Kelsey Grammer comedy that I pop in whenever I don’t have time to follow a film too close. I know the comedy in “Down Periscope” and it is just funny to have on the flat-screen. “Down Periscope” is the “wacky crew in the Navy wins out” story, but it overcomes all the potential pitfalls and stereotypes. Plus, “Down Periscope” has solid work by a great cast – including actor’s actors William H. Macy and Bruce Dern. Here’s another one that’s easy on the eye; will give your funny bone a workout; and can be found easily. So, check out “Down Periscope.” You won’t be disappointed …
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
