My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Eagle Has Landed.” Here’s a World War II thriller adapted from Jack Higgins’ novel of the same name. “The Eagle Has Landed” is a good WWII film. Good, but not great. It does have an outstanding cast filled with award winners and nominees. From Robert Duvall to Donald Sutherland to even TV’s best bad guy (and good guy to “Jeannie”) Larry Hagman, “The Eagle Has Landed” is worth your time.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
