Dam! The idiot calendar maker strikes again! I knew when I saw the Sept. 17, 2018, entry about the Hoover Dam (called the Boulder Dam until the official name change in 1947) that the fools responsible for the calendar would get it wrong. And they did … again about the dam. Real construction did not begin on the dam until 1931 and these idiots have it the year before – when there was a ceremony to mark the beginning of work that wouldn’t commence until six months later.
