Every so often, I take a photo of my favorite hibiscus tree in the yard of our home here in Naples, Fla. Here is the latest bloom on the hibiscus from today (Nov. 10, 2024). It was given to me at my mother’s funeral in 2004. We planted the hibiscus on the north side of our house (in shade; plenty of water from our and the neighbor’s sprinklers) and it has thrived in the more than 20 years it has been in this spot.
