My movie reviews A-Z: Today … ‘Kelly’s Heroes’

My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Kelly’s Heroes.” Here’s my favorite Clint Eastwood flick. Is “Kelly’s Heroes” his best? Hardly. It’s a film that is patchworked together and Clint, who plays the title character, didn’t like how it came out – a World War II movie that was supposed to cash-in on the anti-establishment sentiment of 1970 when “Kelly’s Heroes” was released. It is the story of a group of U.S. soldiers pulling off a heist behind German lines (“the perfect crime”). I can’t say why I like it so much, but I do. It has WWII’s only hippie – Donald Sutherland, man – and “Kelly’s Heroes” is just fun to watch.

I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
