My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “L.A. Confidential.” Here’s one of American cinema’s best-ever films. “L.A. Confidential” has a big cast, a big story and great just about everything (although the sleaziness of Kevin Spacey detracts today). “L.A. Confidential” offers a bruising, visceral, punch-in-the-gut performance by Russell Crowe and wonderful work from Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger and just about everyone else. “L.A. Confidential” is crime noir with Curtis Hanson at the helm and I’m sure you’ve seen it. Well, see it again.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
