My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Magnum Force.” Here is the sequel (the first of four) to Clint Eastwood’s iconic “Dirty Harry” flick. As San Francisco cop “ ‘Dirty’ Harry Callahan,” Eastwood is taking on rouge cops in “Magnum Force.” The movie plays out the story with patience and while you know who the bad guys are, it takes Eastwood some time. While not a great film (it has a Suzanne Somers nude scene in a pool), “Magnum Force” is watchable and Eastwood is … well, Eastwood. Give “Magnum Force” a chance if you haven’t seen it. If you have, I don’t need to tell you to watch it again.
